Pump Operations

Pump Operations

  • Two 240 volt pumps. The pumps will automatically turn on and off based on any given reel calling for fuel.
  • All fuel flow through a high-volume filter housing an inline meter provides additional help for our asset tracking.
  • Two sight tubes installed before the pumps help show the flow of fuel to determine the flow quality and fuel quality at any given time.
  • Hammer unions and check valves provide a fast and efficient changing of pumps if ever necessary.

Individual Reel Sets

  • Every reel has its own set manual ball valve (Inline strainer, electric flow meter, and electric ball valve)
  • The electric ball valve is controlled by the PLC, when the level of the sensor reads a preset level in the fuel tank, the PLC will open the corresponding ball valve. It will then close when the sensor has reached its shut off point.
  • Every set has quick disconnect fitting on each end along with wire plugs to make for a seamless swap out.

All fuel lines are organized to provide easy inspection. This helps to prevent damage that would result in spillage and downtime.

AutoFueler Control Room

  • The control room is always manned by 1 person.
  • We have additional personnel on location to help support all fueling needs.
  • The control room houses all computer and PLC components.
  • 2 screens display all sensor connectivity on one screen and all operations and functions on the other screen.
  • The control room includes heat/AC, toolbox, microwave and refrigerator.
